Hamilton, Canada Marquis Gardens Banquet & Convention Centre Full time

Marquis Gardens Banquet & Convention Center is looking to hire banquet servers who are hardworking & outgoing individuals We are looking for individuals with both day time and evening availability, weekdays and weekends. This position can be both part time and full time Our halls are located on the HSR bus route making it a simple stop Please submit your resume, and we look forward to hearing from you

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate introduction.
- Ensure knowledge of menu for assigned event.
- Serve food and beverages to guests at tables as required.
- Clear tables (dishware & utensils) at conclusion of meal service.
- Make guest satisfaction the utmost priority.
- Assist in the clean up of the hall once the guests have departed,
- Be a team player
- Work well independently as well as in a team.
- Well groomed and punctual at all time.
- Prior experience an asset.
- Ability to lift 30lbs.
- Ability to work on your feet for long hours.
- Reliable transportation.
- Varying schedule to include days, evenings, but mostly weekends
- Hours vary between full and part time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-35 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Day range:

- Weekend availability

Shift:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamilton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- serving: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (preferred)

Work Location: One location
