Concierge - Night Shift

This position is responsible for providing concierge services for the residents of the community and to ensure the security and safety of the building and residents during non-business hours.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Represent the organization providing positive first impressions. Present an approachable and professional image in personal appearance, manner, communication and demeanor.
- Provide residents and visitors an experience that will always be remembered and with the highest level of service and responsiveness. To always behave in a friendly and professional way to residents and staff.
- Provide personal services of the highest level that may include, but not limited, to taxi/DATs booking, restaurant reservations, grocery delivery, recommend location for services nearby in the community etc.
- Maintain a work environment of cleanliness and organization.
- Assure prompt and positive action on all resident complaints, questions, concerns and suggestions, as well as conduct quality assurance follow-up; respond to inquiries regarding services and building issues.
- Use professional telephone etiquette in handling resident requests. Use work order system when necessary.
- Provide support at front desk and administrative assistance as required
- Provide access control services and remain vigilant of non-residents and their purpose for being on property.
- To recognize and assist with the additional needs of vulnerable adults and the elderly. To be responsible for the health, safety, security, welfare, environmental and fire safety/emergency arrangements for yourself and the community residents.
- Conduct routine patrols of the complex premises to ensure the overall safety and security of the building.
- Collaborate with emergency services (police, fire department, etc.) if required, providing them with accurate and necessary information.
- Support the building with light housekeeping as required.
- To ensure all safety accidents/incidents are reported using the company’s reporting procedure.
- To undertake any reasonable request made by the Company
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES**
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude and professional demeanor, serving as an ambassador for the company, and encouraging other employees to do the same.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Requires strong communication, organizational, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to be detail-oriented while maintaining thorough follow-through.
- Ability to multi-task and to work well under pressure.
- Requires professional demeanor with ability to use independent judgment to handle any customer services matters in satisfactory manner.
- Proficiency with electronic resources such as Internet search, Outlook and Word.
- Ability to stand, walks, sit, talk, and use phone. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Valid Criminal Record Check
- Able to work unsupervised
- Ability to work flexible shifts
