**What can you expect in this role?**

Provide support to improve the operational effectiveness of Commercial Insurance across head office and regional departments. Provides forward thinking analysis and acts on operational reports. In addition, you will assist in representing business objectives for Commercial lines while collaborating with IT to prioritize and deliver on department objectives in a timely manner and meeting quality expectations.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Participates in commercial initiatives covering but not limited to product definition, financial performance, and operational effectiveness trending to define requirements and provide data led insights for analysis and action.
- Supports commercial Product Owners to identify and leverage efficiency opportunities through process improvement, automation, and strategic initiatives
- Supports requirements gathering discussions on commercial initiatives
- Support the delivery of business requirements within the system delivery life cycle, including scope and issue & risk identification.
- Review test cases to ensure their accuracy and that they fully test the business requirements.
- Provide user acceptance testing on assigned initiatives
- Participates in review of operational process workflows to highlight and address inefficiencies
- Other duties as assigned

**What you bring**
- Currently enrolled in a University or College Program
- Exceptional customer service, verbal and written communication skills
- Great attention to detail, proactive and responsive to short deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to use data to help form decisions from an execution perspective
