**Position**:
We are seeking a **Marketing Specialist** with demonstrated campaign experience to play a key role in the success of Efficiency Nova Scotia's programs and services. A member of the Marketing Strategy & Customer Experience team, you will join a fun, passionate and hard-working group and you will be responsible for executing the marketing strategy for a portfolio of programs. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a background in marketing-a team player who can pitch in as needed, communicate effectively across teams, and prioritize deliverables in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
**A snapshot of what you will be Involved with**:
- Executing the marketing strategy for an assigned portfolio of Efficiency Nova Scotia programs and services, as well as corporate marketing initiatives.
- Developing marketing campaigns that achieve program goals and objectives, owning the project through all stages of development.
- Leveraging research and customer insights to drive program participation and positively impact the customer experience.
- Managing plans and budgets through effective collaboration with external agency partners including tracking and managing milestones and providing timely status updates.
- Working with the marketing team and internal and external stakeholders to create various marketing materials that support the overall marketing strategy.
- Responsible for budgeting and invoices - may include tracking and processing invoices and updating budgets and forecasts.
- Preparing reports and presentations as required.
- Additional ad-hoc projects and development opportunities.

**Experience & Education**:
- Minimally 5 years of related experience in a role with a similar level of responsibility; experience working with or in a marketing agency and/or utility or energy industry would be an asset.
- University degree or community college equivalent in marketing, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
**What Would Make You Really Stand Out**:
- Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience developing marketing campaigns for both B2C and B2B customers.
- Background working with, or in, a marketing agency and/or utility or energy industry.
**What to expect in your first several weeks on the job**:
**In the first week, expect to**:
- Meet the marketing team, go through the training and onboarding process by meeting with other departments, learning about Efficiency Nova Scotia.
- Meet our agency partners and get familiar with current brands and campaigns.
- Training on software - Basecamp, SharePoint, Fresh Ticket.
- Training and time to read marketing plan and work plan.
- Read program materials, company information (SharePoint materials), and past Annual Reports to get familiar with Efficiency Nova Scotia.
**In the first month, expect to**:
- Be assigned projects with the goal to get familiar with programs, campaigns, and marketing plans.
- Participate in weekly marketing team huddles and review the workplan.
- Job shadows other teammates to learn about their roles and responsibilities.
