**What you bring to the role**:
Masters of Social Work degree (MSW)
Current registration with Ontario College Social Work and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
A minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience with assessment and treatment in a children’s mental health setting
Clinical experience in working with children and youth with complex needs. Knowledge and experience with CBT, DBT and mindfulness. Understanding attachment and practicing from a trauma informed perspective.
Demonstrated clinical experience in leading therapy groups for children, youth and families dealing with complex mental health challenges
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Previous experience with program planning and development
Proven effective collaborative skills as a member of a interprofessional team
Proficient computer skills
Demonstrated commitment to professional development
Demonstrated good attendance record with the ability to maintain this same standard
Demonstrates a commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required
**WORK SCHEDULE**:
The Child and Adolescent Services hours of operation are Monday to Friday, from 0800-1800 hours. Applicants must be able to work some evening hours as required to meet the needs of our patients and their families.
Schedules may change based on operational needs.
**Compensation**:
**OPCOM13**: $41.41 - $52.76 per hour
