**Job Opportunity**:
The Quality Systems Specialist supports the Quality, Systems, and Continuous Improvement Manager in implementing and maintaining quality, Health and Safety and Information Security Management Systems and processes. This role supports ensuring that products and services comply with established quality standards and regulatory requirements, assisting in project quality, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is for an existing vacancy.

What you’ll do:_**
- Quality Systems Maintenance_
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality assurance and Health and Safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with Innovative Group of Companies (IGC) teams to map existing processes using standardized process mapping techniques, ensure alignment and integration of quality and Health and Safety processes throughout the organization, and identify areas for improvement.
- Document current processes using standardized process mapping techniques.
- Work as part of the Quality Assurance team promoting a quality culture within the company
- Support the administration and maintenance of the Quality, Health and Safety and Information Security Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO27001) documentation.
- Assist in the preparation and conduct of internal and external quality/Health and Safety/Information Security audits.
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, audits, and corrective actions to support compliance, traceability, and audit readiness.
- Track and close all audit findings through effective RCA and corrective/preventive actions.
- Support and participate in investigations related to product and process issues, including systemic non-conformities and associated Root cause analysis, CARs/CAPAs
- Project/Product Quality:_
- Assist with the development of test and inspection plans for existing and new products.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to integrate quality assurance processes and standards into the product/projects from the initial design phase.
- Support the stage-gate process for new product development by ensuring quality standards and criteria are defined and met at each phase, from concept to final product release.
- Assist with conducting inspections and tests on incoming “Critical to Quality” materials and products to verify they meet established quality specifications.
- Support the shop floor in identifying, managing, and resolving nonconforming product issues promptly, ensuring corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence.
- Assist with equipment run-offs and conduct statistical analysis for GR&R (Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility) and process capability studies.
- Continuous Improvement Assistance:_
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by gathering and analyzing data on quality and Health and Safety performance and process efficiency.
- Facilitate the continuous improvement process by collaborating with process champions to track progress, implement enhancements, and ensure sustained quality improvements.
- Assist in implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Participate in problem-solving teams to address quality issues and process improvements.
- Documentation and Reporting:_
- Prepare and maintain accurate and detailed records of quality activities and performance metrics.
- Generate regular reports on quality assurance activities and findings for review by management.
- Ensure that quality documentation is current and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Training and Compliance:_
- Assist in training staff on quality assurance and Health and Safety procedures and protocols.
- Assist in ensuring that all employees are aware of and adhere to quality and Health and Safety standards and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance.
- Collaboration and Communication:_
- Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality issues and implement improvements.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders regarding quality matters.
- Support the Quality, Systems, and Continuous Improvement Manager in customer and supplier communications as needed.
