Shingler/labourer

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Install shingles on roofs according to specifications and blueprints.
- Perform repairs on existing roofs, including caulking and sealing.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure proper installation.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Lift heavy materials as needed during the roofing process.

**Skills**
- Proficient in caulking techniques for sealing roof joints.
- Experience using hand tools such as hammers, saws, and drills.
- Background in carpentry or maintenance person work is highly desirable.
- Capable of heavy lifting and working in physically demanding conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.

Pay: $17.83-$34.49 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
