Shingler/labourer

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Install shingles on residential and commercial roofs
- Rip old roofs and do prep work
- Perform heavy lifting and carry materials to the job site as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently, including nail guns, hammers, and caulking tools.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Assist in the repair of existing roofs as necessary.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding roofing specifications.
- Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor associated with roofing tasks.
- Familiarity with caulking techniques for sealing joints and gaps.
- Ability to effectively use hand tools relevant to roofing work.
- Previous experience as a shingler
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
