The Southside Golf Course, a privately owned club, seeks a personable, motivated and career-oriented Clubhouse Supervisor to work alongside the General Manager.

The Clubhouse Supervisor will oversee all daily operations of the clubhouse, relating to the golf course, golf shop, restaurant and beverage cart.

This position is ideal for individuals who seek steady advancement in the field of hospitality management.

**Experience**:

- At least two years of food and beverage/hospitality experience is considered an asset.
- Golf knowledge is considered an asset.

**JOB SUMMARY**
- Assures the smooth, efficient daily function of the clubhouse operations to provide guests with the experience and services for which Southside Golf Course is well known. The focus is to provide an enjoyable, positive and memorable environment.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Is skilled in hiring, supervising, managing, mentoring and developing high achieving employees. Perpetual training and coaching are essential.
- Has food and beverage experience and knowledge of wine, beer and spirits.
- Is organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize competing or conflicting projects.
- Required computer skills of Word, Excel, Outlook, and POS systems (Tee-On considered an asset).
- Has strong organizational and time management skills; identifying the details necessary to consistently achieve high levels of quality, satisfaction and outstanding guest experiences.
- Embraces the service ethic and displays a passion for providing a high quality customer experience on a daily basis.
- Has a professional appearance and demeanor and expects the same from their team members.
- Hands-on and effective team building and leadership skills. A confident, proactive team builder who has a history of attracting, developing, and retaining high performance staff.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Reports to and works closely with the General Manager to ensure clientele satisfaction is met and perform specific tasks as requested by the GM.
- Ensures that Southside Golf Course guests enjoy outstanding food and beverage operations by providing appealing menu offerings that are appropriately priced and featuring respectful, efficient, and exemplary service. Food and beverage operations are a primary focus of the Clubhouse Supervisor.
- Work closely with GM to develop techniques to drive golf revenue, function and event bookings, and food and beverage revenue. Ensure member and event clientele needs are consistently met and often exceeded.
- Assists in the management of all daily clubhouse services throughout restaurant, pro shop and beverage cart.
- Communicate with event clientele, guests, members, vendors and staff; listen to concerns and suggestions; observe, assess, and evaluate all areas of responsibility; work closely with the GM to implement appropriate and incremental improvements.
- Employee hiring, training, development and scheduling; plan and coordinate training.
- Ensure all club events are well-conceived and executed. (i.e. Corporate Events, Social Events, Weddings, Member Events, and Golf Outings and Tournaments).
- Hold and attend Staff and Department Head meetings. Coordinate events with other departments.
- Ensure employee safety, personnel discipline, and the daily work schedule.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Oversees staff management and daily operations of the following departments: pro shop, restaurant and beverage cart.
- Interacts positively, professionally and politely with all team members, vendors and the community to promote a team effort.
- Must maintain a “lead by example” approach and act as a back up to staff members in a variety of areas, and shifts.
