**Job Summary**:
Welcome to Tiny Timbers Children's Academy, we are a new Childcare Centre in Willowbrook, Langley. We are two moms who wanted to create an environment for children that feels like their home away from home. Our programs include Infant Toddler, 3-5 Full day, Junior Kindergarten, and Out of School Care. Our approach to early childhood education is rooted in the principles of Emergent curriculum, we facilitate learning by creating learning experiences based on children’s interests and provide activities that foster discovery.

We are a seeking passionate and diligent Adminstrative Assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and development of the children in our care, as well as assisting the daily operations of the center. We are looking for someone who enjoys building authentic relationships with children, families and the local community. This individual will demonstrate organization, quick thinking, and a warm and inviting personality. It is important that they have knowledge in a childcare center.

**Duties**:

- Develop and maintain positive relationships and communication with families
- Provide leadership and guidance to Teachers
- Scheduling and staffing needs
- Recordkeeping
- Coordinate with parents/guardians to address any concerns or issues
- Oversee the maintenance of facilities, equipment, and supplies
- Ensure the adherence to cleaning schedules
- Thorough and up to date understanding of Tiny Timber's policies and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in early childhood education
- Teaching in the classroom when required
- Ensuring teacher to child ratio is met
- Half your shift would be spent in an admin role, the other half would be spent in classroom

**Skills**
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of classroom management techniques and strategies
- Ability to educate and engage children in a variety of learning activities

**Requirements**:

- Valid Early Childhood Educator Certificate
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Criminal Record Check Required
- 2+ year experience working in childcare settings
- Administrative experience

**Compensation**

Starting at $22-$25 an hour plus wage enhancement. We also provide extended health and dental benefits

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
