**Machine Operator**

This position works on a 10 hour afternoon shift (3:30 pm-2am) Monday to Thursday weekly with the possibility of overtime.

**Primary Duties**:

- Prepare production line for On-Time start up.
- Record and report production metrics for each production run.
- Work along side of Production Associates in completion of duties
- Assist in the process improvements to increase line efficiencies.
- Clean certain components of the production line per direction of Operating Lead(s).
- Continuously check quality of final product and report product flaws to Lead(s) and Process Improvement.
- Stacking / Packing of products
- Reports any packaging materials needed and take proactive measurements by reporting these to Operating Lead(s) and Section Supervisor.
- Follows Company Safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance requirements timely to Operating Lead(s).
- Follows Food Safety and GMPS’s as directed by Management.
- Follows set break and rotation schedule
- Follows Production / Secondary Cleaning Schedule

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous manufacturing or comparative experience (preferred)
- Mechanical aptitude and machine set up experience (preferred)
- Previous experience operating machinery using an HMI (Human Machine Interface) an asset
- Experience working with various hand tools
- Additional duties may be assigned.
- Provide professional references

**Physical Requirements**
- Capable of working in a hot, humid environment
- Standing and walking for long periods of time
- Able to lift 50 lbs, twist and bend
- Capable of wearing a respirator and other applicable personal protective safety equipment, as required.
- Complete a pre-employment medical and/or pulmonary testing, etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
