In this fulfilling role, you'll take charge of maintaining high hygiene and presentation standards while working independently and alongside a fantastic team. You'll be the heartbeat of our self-serve store, ensuring that every corner shines and every customer feels right at home.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, garbage removal and sterilizing surfaces.
- Execute various custodial duties in commercial settings, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. (Indoors and Outdoors.)
- Remove spoiled produce from the shelves.
- Restock produce in an organized manner following the company store layout and maintain full shelves.
- Manage time efficiently to complete all cleaning and restocking duties within designated timeframes.
- Conduct routine inspections of the store to identify areas needing attention or repairs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning needs, refilling supplies, customer inquiries and issues encountered during shifts.
- Flexibility and willingness to commute to the store when any urgent issues require staff to be present.
- Lift and move heavy objects to thoroughly clean and maintain the store.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from customers.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiar with, or willing to learn, about the produce sold and how it spoils.
- Understanding the produce sold to properly restock and determine when the produce should be removed from the shelves.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated and able to work alone.
- Customer service-oriented approach to address cleaning needs efficiently.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with team members and customers.
- Capability to lift heavy objects and perform physical duties as required.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility and ability to commute to the store when management needs assistance resolving an issue with the store.

All necessary supplies and equipment are provided.

You'll be responsible for cleaning and restocking 5 days a week, with each cleaning taking about an hour.

You'll earn $25.00 for each clean and restock, and for any urgent issues that management needs assistance.
