**Barista: Craft Coffee & Guest Service Specialist**

**Location**: 125 W 2nd Ave, Qualicum Beach
**Schedule**: Wednesday to Saturday (part-time or full-time)

As our Barista, you will be the face of our café, creating exceptional coffee and warm guest experiences every day. From expertly pulling espresso shots to crafting lattes with care, you will ensure every beverage meets our high standards. Beyond coffee, you will engage with guests, provide outstanding service, and help maintain the welcoming, community-focused atmosphere that our café is known for. **What You’ll Do**
- Prepare and serve espresso drinks, coffee, teas, and specialty beverages with consistency and quality
- Provide friendly, attentive service to every guest, ensuring an exceptional café experience
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace and service area
- Operate point-of-sale systems, handle cash, and process transactions accurately
- Assist with restocking, inventory rotation, and daily café operations
- Collaborate with team members to keep service smooth during peak times
- Support bakery and food service offerings when needed

**What You Bring**
- Previous barista or café experience preferred
- Passion for coffee, guest service, and hospitality
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure
- Comfort with early mornings, weekends, and flexible scheduling
- Food handler’s certification (preferred, or willingness to obtain)
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs

**Work Schedule**
- Café/Bakery is open from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Part-time or full-time positions available
- Flexible scheduling (mornings and weekends required)
