**Personal Support Worker (PSW)**

This position is for our **Extendicare York**Home, located in **Sudbury, Ontario**.**

Available opportunities include Part-time Dayshift

**What**you’ll** be doing**
- Assist residents with mobility, meal service and personal care
- Encourage resident participation in activities and programs
- Provide emotional and social support to residents and families

**What you bring**
- PSW certification, from an Ontario post-secondary institution or district school board that meets the requirement set by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities
- Able to perform physical tasks and duties, including frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
- Compassion, professionalism, and respect
- Experience with an older adult population an asset
- Strong customer and resident service skills. Experience in a high paced customer service setting an asset
- Flexible and willingness to learn new tasks
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to quickly changing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English (other languages an asset)
