**JPosition Overview**

The Owen Sound Tourism Development Fund is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated **Tourism Entity Facilitator** to support its operations and help advance local tourism initiatives. This 1-year contract role will be instrumental in implementing the MAT Action Plan, supporting tourism-related funding programs, and coordinating administrative and financial responsibilities.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of tourism development, public administration, and community engagement in one of Ontario's most vibrant regions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support to the Owen Sound MAT Committee.
- Acquire necessary administrative tools (e.g., laptop, phone, software).
- Maintain accurate financial records, manage bookkeeping, and assist with budget preparation.
- Draft and update funding agreements and policies.
- Ensure compliance with the MAT Action Plan.
- Assist with the marketing and promotion of MAT-funded initiatives.
- Prepare and document the annual MAT Tourism Work Plan.
- Schedule, attend, and record minutes for committee meetings.
- Present quarterly reports to the MAT Stakeholder Committee and Owen Sound Community Services Committee.
- Collaborate with tourism stakeholders and partners as needed.

**Required Qualifications**
- Proven ability to develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies.
- Strong financial management and bookkeeping skills; proficiency with QuickBooks.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and digital file management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong administrative and organizational capabilities.
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a tourism, non-profit, municipal, or funding-related environment is an asset.
