IT Project Coordinator

**YOUR OPPORTUNITY**:
This is 12 month contract with possibility of permanency or extension and is an on-site position at our office in Ottawa, ON.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform administrative project duties including project setup, document control, change orders and archiving
- Facilitate project meetings, record meeting minutes, record action items, and follow up on them
- Perform contract administration for project, service and vendor contracts
- Create and maintain tasks schedules
- Coordinate resources to meet deadlines
- Track project progress and prepare progress reports
- Record and report on project finances
- Maintain issue and risk registers for active projects
- Identify and assess project issues and risks and assist to develop strategies to mitigate them
- Organize, maintain and file operations and project documents
- Create weekly resource booking schedules
- Perform administration of change management, ensuring compliance with project control processes
- Assist to create project communication plans and act as main point of contact for project communications.
- Triage team and client communications and escalate issues to the project manager
- Perform other administrative duties as required

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Fluent in English (written and oral professional proficiency)
- Completed certificate or degree in a relevant field such as business administration, accounting, information technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two (2) or more years of experience working in customer service, technical support, project support and/or providing office support
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability and willingness to commute/relocate to Ottawa
- Customer service: 2 years (required)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (required)
- Phone etiquette: 2 years (required)

- Experience using professional servcies automation software, databases or customer management systems
- Familiarity with SharePoint and OneDrive
- Proficiency in French is an asset but not required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $28.50-$35.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
