**Key Impact Areas**:

- Bridging Communication and Collaboration: The Project Coordinator serves as a vital link between site superintendents, office administration, and project managers. This collaborative role facilitates the efficient flow of information and resources, ensuring that all project stakeholders work in sync.
- Empowering Leadership: By providing administrative support to project managers, the Vice President, the Project Coordinator empowers our leadership team to make informed decisions and drive our projects towards success.
- Ensuring Safety Compliance: Safety is paramount at Doran. The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that safety obligations with clients are diligently met and communicated to the Project Manager and Supervisors, thereby contributing to a secure work environment.
- Promoting Health and Safety: Beyond the project site, the Project Coordinator actively promotes our company and legislative health and safety policies. Their efforts help create a culture of safety across all our construction sites.
- Project Lifecycle Management: With a strong focus on project lifecycle management, the Project Coordinator allocates resources, schedules activities, and maintains documentation. They establish mechanisms for tracking project progress and reporting to the management team, crucial for our project's success.
- Timely Planning and Documentation: The Project Coordinator uses Microsoft Project software to meticulously plan project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and micro-deliverables. Their attention to detail ensures that project documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
- Transparent Reporting: Regular reports on project progress are prepared and delivered during management meetings, ensuring that the entire team remains informed and aligned on project status, potential escalations, and other essential updates.
- Change Management: Tracking and distributing instructions and changes to trades and other affected parties is a vital responsibility. The Project Coordinator documents these changes, ensuring that project changes are effectively managed.
- Quality Assurance: The Project Coordinator reviews, monitors, and keeps official drawings up to date. They also track the issuance of shop drawings between trades and consultants, ensuring that project quality standards are upheld.

**Qualifications for Impact**:

- Post-secondary education in a construction-related field.
- LEED certification, Gold Seal, and/or Green Building Certificates are assets.
- Experience in construction related field, or similar role is required. Experience with a General Contractor would be an asset.
- Strong organizational, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- General knowledge of shop drawings, RFIs, Changes, and Site instructions as they relate to a project is a requirement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with bilingualism as an asset.
- Ability to work in varying physical and sensory environments, including outdoor and indoor settings.
