**Fuzion Flooring - Product Marketing Manager - (FULL TIME)**
**Reporting to - Senior Director of Marketing**

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning and management of all product initiatives including new product introduction, product rationalization, changes and ongoing product support and maintenance. This role will report directly into the Senior Director of Marketing and be an integral component of the marketing team evolution and success. We need someone who is ready to represent the VOICE of the PRODUCT in the overall Fuzion Marketing Ecosystem.
**Accountabilities**:
**Value Proposition**
- Be the product marketing owner by gaining an intimate knowledge of our products, collections, accessories and brands.
- Own the entire product value proposition strategy and all key messages to best support the narrative
- Be the NPI ambassador leading all marketing elements needed to bring a new product to market including the project management planning and execution
- Collaborate with our CEO, Supply Chain and Product Management team to co-own the product roadmap
- Lead and own all the messaging related to product testing, certifications and claims - find our niche to promote.
- Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to communicate and leverage key claims and messages for the market and our partners
- Strategize how best to create value for our users and customers which includes understanding all our market segments, their needs and behaviour towards features and benefits
- Maintain and support warranty information templates and instructions to ensure they are positioned on brand and help support the Fuzion story. Look for new ways to really connect our customers and users with our marketing materials.
- Manage all branding by line and across channel partners to insure no conflict and strategic positioning
- Play a key role in the overall product roadmap and rationalization management to ensure all documentation is updated and partners are informed of changes in a timely manner
**Market Research**
- Interface with internal and external sources to keep a pulse on the market
- Review competitors on a daily basis to stay one step ahead and anticipate impacts.
- Provide a weekly analysis and summary report to the company to help keep everyone informed about competitive product changes and introductions.
- Create competitive tools and scripting for sales and service - help our teams with the right story and what to focus on
- Talk to customers, conduct mini-research sessions, collect information from our sales and service teams with an eye on trends.
- Leverage secondary research to keep a view on market share and market shifts
- Bring innovative new ideas to the forefront for team brainstorming and ideation
**Product Management Support**
- Lead the creation and management of all Photo/Video requirements to support products, this would be for new products and updates needed for existing products
- Own all and any content and copy that is to support our products
- Own the template for SPECs along with maintaining the accuracy and location of SPEC documentation
- Develop and update all FAQs
- Assess Packaging / box opportunity to properly communicate value propositions and reiterate branding messages
- Create and manage all product naming
- Drive the Product Marketing Brief process and maintain historical content
- Work on all legal requirements to support naming, claims and any related documentation
**Knowledge & Skills Required**
- Degree in marketing, business or equivalent is preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in product marketing, preferably in the flooring industry
- Experience in the flooring industry, building materials or interior design industries are a strong advantage
- Project Management skills and/or skills with PM collaboration tools (Asana, Trello, Canto, Monday)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- English/French bilingual an asset
