**Job Duties**
- Liaise with management and the production team to ensure projects are started, executed, and finished according to federal regulations
- Create, maintain, and follow QA control documentation
- Ensure all staff within the facility follow cGMP requirements
- Perform manual and automated testing, followed by analyzing, and recording related results
- Document defects or deficiencies in products with conciseness, accuracy, and details to prevent defects from occurring in the future
- Ensure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation
- Ensure existing quality procedures are followed and recorded during production
- Update and keep records of quality procedures and results
- Ensure sanitation is done, including CIP on production equipment and recorded
- Ensure all required documentation are completed during production, shipping and receiving
- Ensure all documents related to inspection of facility and production are completed by relevant employees and recorded
- Assist with the production when needed
- Assist with the ordering of raw materials when needed
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed
- Liaise with CFIA inspector during inspections
- Ensure preventative control plan (PCP) is updated

**Quality Assurance Technician Skills and Qualifications**
- Prefer 1+ years of industry experience (food or beverage industry experience)

HACCP or SQF certification
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Ability to enforce that quality standards are followed, maintained, and recorded
- Experience enforcing SOP and product specifications
- Proficiency with all MS Office Suite programs
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- A sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution and people management skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
