**Responsibilities**:
DBA with work experience in Oracle 11g ,12c and 18c, 19C

Proficient in managing databases in various platforms. Support activities ranging from initial database architecture design through implementation, administration, monitoring, tuning, backup and migration. Develop and oversee database policies and procedures

Working knowledge of Oracle, covering Enterprise and Standard Edition. Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Data Guard (DG). Familiar with Oracle's Product line, Database Editions and Options

Expert level knowledge in ORACLE RAC, Goldengate and OEM

Strong experience of performing SQL DBA activities such as installation, configuration and maintenance of SQL Server databases

Experience in handling Incidents, change and problem tickets and have knowledge of ITIL processes

Upgraded Oracle RAC cluster and Oracle DB to 18c and 19C

Participate in planning, installation, implementation, configuration of Oracle GRID and RAC Database troubleshooting issues

Database cloning and refreshes using ACTIVE, Manual and RMAN. Also should have knowledge of Backup/recovery tasks such as complete, incomplete recovery, block recovery, export import using datapump etc.

Installation, Monitoring and implementation of OEM 12C and performed task such as targets addition, creating monitoring templates, creating blackouts and configuring incident alerts

Configure and create physical standby databases using Dataguard for disaster recovery and participated in BCP testing drills

ASM administration including Disk addition and managing ASM Disk and Diskgroups, Voting disk and OCR files Addition/backup

Proactively Tune queries, procedures and database IO to improve performance

Perform Database tuning, setting Initialization parameter and memory tuning using TKPROF, AWR, ASH, ADDM reports

Configured database replication using oracle goldengate

Nice to have knowledge of sql server instances and databases, configuring and scheduling the backups, handling daily tasks. Also provided oncall support for sql server
