**Carpenter - Restoration Repairs (Full-Time)**
**Location**: Edmonton, AB
**Industry**: Disaster Restoration & Condo Services
**Schedule**: Monday to Friday (occasional overtime or emergency call-outs)

**What You'll Be Doing**:
As a restoration carpenter, you'll tackle a wide variety of residential and light commercial repairs following water, fire, or other property damage. You'll also complete capital upgrade work for condo buildings. This includes:
**General Carpentry & Repairs**
- Framing (interior/exterior, partition walls, bulkheads, structural replacements)
- Drywall install, taping, patching, sanding
- Baseboard, casing, crown moulding, and trim work
- Door installation (pre-hung, custom-fit, fire-rated)
- Window and sill replacements
- Cabinetry and countertop installs (including minor modifications or repairs)
- Ceiling repair or replacement (standard and textured)

**Finishing Work**
- Flooring
- Painting (walls, ceilings, doors, trim)
- Minor insulation or vapor barrier work
- Caulking, sealing, and general touch-ups for move-in-ready finishes

**Restoration-Specific Skills**
- Repairing flood
- or fire-damaged interiors to pre-loss condition
- Interfacing with Project Managers remediation rebuilds
- Understanding scope of work documentation and insurance standards
- Ensuring dust control, site safety, and client satisfaction at all times

**Must-Have Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of carpentry or renovation experience (restoration or insurance work is a major asset)
- Proficient with hand and power tools, layout, and finishing techniques
- Ability to work independently on-site and complete high-quality repairs with mínimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of interior construction, materials, and measurement
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Willingness to work in occupied units, condos, and sometimes high-pressure post-loss environments

Pay: $27.00-$40.00 per hour
