As a full-time Project Manager for NJS, you have the ability to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment in the construction industry from project start-up through completion. **Expert knowledge in understanding of Watermain, Forcemain, and Sewer Installation is required.**

**Your Responsibilities Include**:

- Attend and participate in job handover meetings, including critical path scheduling, document organization, equipment and manpower requirements, and review of the estimate for completeness of take-off, scope, and pricing.
- Obtain, review, submit and track shop drawings.
- Prepare and submit watermain commissioning and disinfection plans.
- Prepare and submit traffic control plans as per Book 7.
- Issue purchase orders and order materials.
- Attend job progress meetings as required.
- Develop, maintain, and regularly review project progress information, including critical path scheduling and work in progress reports.
- Work with the General Superintendent and on-site superintendents to help coordinate the activities of the work crews as required
- Provides necessary documents to field staff and Project Coordinators in a timely manner and follow up on all open action items.
- Provide on-going support to field personnel to help identify and remove obstacles that impact construction progress, resolve challenges, and identify and implement profit improvement strategies to the job.
- Pricing, managing, tracking, and organizing Change Orders
- Coordinate, price, manage, and process change orders in a timely manner.
- Identify, review and resolve technical problems with our clientele, suppliers, superintendents, and subcontractors.
- Visit project sites regularly for troubleshooting and to ensure ongoing project quality.
- Process, review and submit monthly project billings.
- Develop, chair and initiate all job closeout activities, including preparation of as-built drawings, handover documents, final payment quantities and recovery of holdbacks

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Proficient in understanding of watermain, forcemain, and sewer installation
- Minimum 10 Years as a Project Manager
- Strong organizational, planning and computer skills
- Attention to detail
- CET Engineer degree or Construction Technology Program
- Strong understanding of OPSS and Local Municipality Construction Standards
- MS Office proficient
- Bluebeam proficient
- Estimating ability would be considered an asset.

**Compensation Package**
- Salary $70,000 to $120,000 depending upon experience
