Welcome to an exciting opportunity at Vector Corrosion Technologies (VCT) as a Marketing Events Coordinator In this dynamic role, you will take the lead in orchestrating all our event-based marketing initiatives, spanning from high-profile conferences and tradeshows to international distributor meetings, educational seminars/webinars, and our annual team gatherings. Your responsibilities go beyond event logistics, as you will also play a crucial role in providing comprehensive executive support to VCT's president and collaborate closely with marketing managers as needed.

- Implement and manage effective events-based marketing initiatives
- Support executive administration initiatives as assigned
- Support broader marketing team initiatives
- Support the annual marketing/communications budget
- Perform additional marketing/admin duties and accountabilities as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or certificate in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or another relevant field
- 2-4 years of demonstrated marketing and/or communications experience.
- Proven experience in event marketing and logistics
- Experience in executive administration
- Experience in B2B marketing, in industries like construction, engineering, and architecture, is preferred, although not mandatory.
- Must have a valid driver's licence with reliable transorpotation
- Ability to do some light travel
- Ability to do office work which includes, packing and shipping marketing materials such as booths, banners, and literature
- Ability to multi-tasking - the ability to successfully manage multiple projects
- Capability to work independently and the flexibility to handle changing priorities.

**Skills & Knowledge**
- Knowledge of current trends in marketing, data analytics, and social media
- Proficient in English with strong copywriting and editing skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Good research and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics
- Collaborative and a creative thinker
- Team-oriented with a growth and continuous improvement mindset
