**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Responsible for the daily accounting functions of a high transaction, multi-currency, multi-company environment, with 7 locations, as well as leading an accounting department of 4 people
- Full cycle financial accounting including AP, AR, bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
- Oversight of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, intercompany.
- Experience in cost accounting would be an asset
- Implement and closely monitor internal control policies, procedures and processes
- Review intercompany transactions and reconcile the accounts
- Manage tax filing processes to ensure compliance with corporate tax, HST and other government reconciliations and remittances
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by all staff and that all transactions are correctly reflected in the accounts
- Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Ensure timely and accurate cash postings of customer payments.
- Manage and coach accounting team members

**Credit Manager Requirements**:

- University degree in Accounting/Finance
- CPA in good standing preferred
- 5 - 10 years accounting experience (at least 3 years in a corporate accounting environment)
- Strong knowledge and focus on internal controls and compliance
- Excellent judgement, problem solving and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
