As the Kitchen Lead you will oversee the kitchen operations and create an innovative menu for our 190 seat Lounge. The Kitchen Lead will supervise the staff of the kitchen and participate in the training and development of staff. You will also determine the menu changes, equipment and ingredients that are necessary, and handle special menu requests for events. You will manage the kitchen staff in compliance with all health and safety regulations by ensuring adherence to sanitary and safe food handling guidelines at all times.
**What You'll Need**:
- A desire to consistently grow and develop those around you
- 2 to 5 years of hands on experience
- Strong Scheduling and Cost Control knowledge
- At least 1 year of management experience ideally within a restaurant environment
- Ability to bring creativity and passion to our cuisine
- Effective problem solver, multi-tasker and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Track record of strong leadership in supervising and coaching staff
- Ensures kitchen runs in accordance with all applicable health, safety, and hygiene codes and standards.
