Due to the growth of our small business we Purrdy Paws Pet Grooming Spa is in need of an exceptional Customer Service Expert PLEASE READ ENTIRE JOB POST BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR RESUME 5+ years of hands/face - on customer service experience with a diverse community Be able to multitask and remain calm and organized in a fast paced environment Be presentable, punctual and professional Be able to work as part of a team as well as solo with mínimal direction Be extremely organized and have excellent time management skills Be able to make last minute decisions and have leadership abilities Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written Be able to go up and down stairs and lift up to 50 lbs Have attention to detail and cleaning Have a good solid understanding of social media pages such as facebook, instagram and tiktok Have a love and passion for animals and small business Duties include but not limited to: Answering multiple phone lines booking appointments and handling client inquiries selling retail product and assisting walk in clients Assisting groomers from time to time with checking in and out their dogs organizing paperwork, sending invoices, and taking messages effectively posting on social media pages such as facebook, instagram and tiktok cleaning of the front retail/reception area of the salon and more.... Assets will include: Previous animal related work history ie: pet store, vet clinic etc. Marketing knowledge Flexible work availability History of management or leadership bilingualism an asset 1 > updated resume 3 > three valid references Part-time hours: 25-40 per week **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent **Salary**: From $15.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: All covid requirements followed as per guidelines **Salary**: $15.00-$18.00 per hour Additional pay: - Bonus pay - Overtime pay - Tips **Benefits**: - Dental care - Disability insurance - Extended health care - Flexible schedule - Life insurance - Store discount - Vision care Schedule: - 10 hour shift - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: - Ottawa, ON k1s 3v4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Secondary School (preferred) **Experience**: - Customer service: 5 years (preferred)
