**Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in customer service and food handling will ensure that each guest has an exceptional experience at our establishment.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and supplies.
- Assist with food preparation and handling, adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and order accuracy.
- Stay knowledgeable about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- A passion for coffee and beverage preparation is a plus

Expected hours: 20 - 44 per week
