FG Deli Group is currently looking for a reliable, hardworking, flexible individual with a great attitude to join our Production team as a **Meat Receiving Employee (Material Handler/Forklift Operator)**.
This full-time position reports to the Production Supervisor, responsible for production process relating to receiving and defrost of products in an accurate and timely manner, while meeting quality and customer requirements.

**Pay - Starting Rate $21.71, experienced rate after 3120hrs worked $23.21/hr**
**Shift - **Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
**Core Responsibilities**:

- Ensure quality standards and specifications are met prior to receiving and remove products not meeting quality standards
- Organize loading docks and bays and schedule time to receive trucks and products
- Communicate with team members when trucks will arrive and what product will be coming
- Unload trucks in an orderly and timely manner
- Record product information as it is removed from the truck (HACCP, weight of pieces, # of pieces, lot #’s)
- Put product away in proper location following FIFO, ensuring stock rotation
- Accurately record information in receiving logbook and IFS
- Properly tag / identify products during production within the Receiving Defrost department
- Report any food safety and/or quality issues to the Team Leader to ensure appropriate resolution
- Load defrost bins with product
- Weigh and label of all product put in defrost bins, on shelves or packed
- Pack product in boxes for freezing
- Space product for tempering
- Unpack products on shelves for tempering

**Minimum Requirements**:

- High attention to detail
- Forklift Certified
- Able to perform physical tasks that require frequent bending and twisting throughout the shift
- Able to lift to 44lbs occasionally
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Able to perform repetitive hand movements
- Able to work in a refrigerated environment (approximately 2° C)
- Able to communicate and maintain working relationship with coworkers
- Trained to operate mobile equipment

**_Note_**: _To comply with food exporting requirements to the United States, all FG Deli new hires are required to pass criminal and background checks._

Monday to Friday 6am to 2:30pm
