**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Handle, transport, and store sheet metal materials safely and efficiently.
- Operate shearing machines to cut sheet metal to specified dimensions.
- Inspect and verify materials received against orders and specifications.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update logs as necessary.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and production efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and production staff to coordinate tasks.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience as a Material Handler in a manufacturing environment, specifically with sheet metal.
- Proficiency in operating shears and other related machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to handle materials and perform manual tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
