Job Description: We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and experienced Server to join our team at a new cocktail bar on Commercial Drive. The bar features 35 seats and a small menu of artisanal cocktails and small plates.

The Server will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, delivering food and beverage orders, and creating memorable experiences for guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers and take orders in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
- Explain menu items, make recommendations, and answer questions about food and drinks
- Ensure that all orders are prepared correctly and meet customer expectations
- Check on customers regularly to ensure that they are satisfied with their experience
- Upsell additional menu items or specials to customers when appropriate
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning tables and resetting dishes and utensils
- Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Work with the Bar Manager and other staff to ensure that the bar is properly stocked and prepared for service

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a server in an upscale restaurant or bar
- Strong knowledge of food and drink menus, including cocktails, beer, and wine
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Certification in SIR

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $15.65 per hour
