**Delivery Crew - Casual / On-Call**

Loungeworks Furniture Rental and Décor - Burnaby, BC

**Job Type**: Casual on-call, 0 - 30 hours a week ,

**Salary**: $19 to $23 per hour based on experience

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely loading and unloading furniture from trucks
- On-site installation of furniture according to floor plans/client direction
- Checking cleanliness of furniture and spot-cleaning as necessary
- Punctual delivery with the ability to work under a tight deadline

**Requirements**:

- Physically fit and able to repeatedly lift or carry items up to 60lbs.
- Must be able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and can show initiative
- Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
- Knowledge and ability to adhere to workplace safety precautions
- CSA approved steel toe shoes/boots

Preferred assets:

- Experience in the special events, film, trade show or hospitality industries
- Experience as a residential or commercial mover
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license, with a clean driver’s abstract (30 days or newer)
- (Bonus) Knowledge of local venues including hotels, convention centres, loading docks, etc.

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:
