An excellent painter is knowledgeable in selecting the right material for their job. They have experience in painting with various tools and in various heights and spaces while observing all safety measures. They must be reliable and skillful as well as possess great attention to detail in completing their duties.

The goal is to deliver high-quality painting work. 100% customer satisfaction every job.

**Responsibilities**

+Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary

+Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.

+Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc.

+Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)

+Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture

+Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools

+Complete job on budget

+Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions

**Requirements**:
+Proven experience as a painter

+Must have skill set to operate a paint sprayer. Spray exterior projects like stucco, siding and fences. Spray interior finishes as well including ceilings, doors and trim. Thoroughly clean and maintain sprayer after completion of each project.

+Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction painting techniques

+Aptitude in using appropriate tools (sprayer, roller, brushes, caulking guns etc.)

+Personable and strong communication skills to interact with co workers, clients, suppliers and other trades.

+Good basic math skills +Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.

+Conscientious with great attention to detail

+High school diploma

+Own vehicle, reliable transportation to and from job sites and paint store

Compensation

+Performance based

+Subtrade pay system

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract, potential for ongoing Employment after project completion.

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour. $30.00 per hour with high calibre spray abilities.

Pay based on skill set with spraying be a key asset to operate, maintain and clean.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
