- Manage scheduling, treatment plans, and patient communication.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental calendar to optimize patient flow
- Present treatment options with confidence, including financial discussions.
- Navigate insurance confidently (assignment, non-assignment, primary, secondary, claim submission).
- Support Invisalign consultations and general dentistry case presentations.
- Use **AkituOne** software to maintain accurate charts, billing, and scheduling.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support smooth daily operations.
**Experience**
- at least 3 years of previous experience as a Dental Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator
- Familiarity with billing, EDI claims, and insurance verification processes is essential.
- Proficient in Dental Software
- AkituOne experience is a bonus
- Strong understanding of **insurance** and the ability to clearly explain it to patients.
- Confidence in discussing **treatment and finances** with patients.
- Reliability, organization, and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to work at **two locations** (downtown Toronto & midtown Toronto).
- Availability on **Saturdays**.
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
