About the Role

We're looking for a Product Manager experienced in financial reporting to join Workday's Financials Product Management team. If you are passionate about all things financial reporting and seek a dynamic environment working across functions to bring an outstanding reporting experience to our customers, this might be the role for you

As a Product Manager, Financial Reporting, you'll define business requirements, produce functional design specifications, and work closely with software engineers to turn functional specifications into next-generation business services. You will ensure delivery of valuable customer outcomes for a specific set of reporting use cases. Additionally, your energy and talents will be applied to:
- Providing credible leadership, communications, and direction to researchers, designers, developers, and QA analysts through your research, prioritization, and distillation of customers’ needs into practical findings,- Collaborating on the creation of detailed functional designs using Agile methodologies and tools- Collaboration with developers and QA to ensure the product you intended to build gets delivered- Serving as the product champion and expert point of contact for implementation consultants, support and customer success, documentation, sales support, marketing, and product strategy, and- Reviewing, commenting, follow-up, and targeting bug and enhancement requests

About You

Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as an Enterprise Financials or Reporting Product Manager or Business Systems Analyst- Functional experience with one or more of the following: Period End Closing, Consolidation, Financial Statements production, Management Reporting, Board Reporting, Business Intelligence tools and data architectures for enterprise financial reporting-
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

Other Qualifications:
- Ability to present product requirements and features to both internal and external audiences.- Ability to work effectively within and across modern product teams to achieve goals
