**Job purpose**
Main function of this role is assist in the placement, review, and marketing of new and renewing Personal lines business within the brokerage.
**Duties and responsibilities**
**Administrating New Business - Personal Lines**:
- Re-visiting, Reviewing, and Re-Engaging on all existing mid-market, wholesaler, Personal accounts to ensure information is up to date on Personal Broker Management System
- Sending out all policy renewal documents with appropriate renewal documentations
- Forwarding all renewal questionnaires and ensuring the prompt completion for renewal issuance
- Remitting renewal or non-renewal notices to carrier and client when/if necessary
- Sending out welcome and thank you notices along with new business and renewal policy documents
- Issuing e-doc notices to independent brokers on renewal policies (daily)
**Account Reconciliation for Agency Bill**:
- Responsible for receiving, maintaining, and monitoring all Agency Bill Personal Lines Renewals
- Ensuring brokers are notified of all Agency Bill Personal Lines renewals 45 days in advance
- Sending following up notification and notice of cancellation within 30 days of Agency Bill renewal (payment must be received within 10 days of the renewal)
- Notifying partner carrier of non-renewal 20 days prior to renewal
- Issue formal notice of registered cancellation (registered mail) on Agency Bill policies not paid 20 days prior to the renewal.
**Relationship Maintenance**:
- Ensuring that we maintain a good relationship with all past, present or potential clients.
- Listening to concerns associated with current process and advising management of potential change and development
- Keep a healthy rapport with all staff, associate brokers, and carrier partner admin/underwriters
- Identifying exiting challenges with associate broker submissions and advising of innovative ways to improve existing issues
- Working to ensure we are writing profitable risks and encouraging an atmosphere that allows our brokers to thrive
- Understanding and communicating the underwriting process for all Personal lines submissions
**Qualifications**
- Education - Minimum College or University level Degree/Undergraduates Degree
- Specialized knowledge - 1+ Years Insurance Industry Experience
- Skills - Fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Broker Management Systems
- Abilities - Multi-tasking, Strong Communication Skills, Diligent, Meticulous, Co-Operative, Team Oriented, Strong Work Ethic.
- Professional Certification - R.I.B.O (Level I)

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$48,000.00 per year
