TerraCycle’s global reuse platform Loop partners with brands and retailers to move from a disposable to durable supply chain and enables consumers to purchase a wide range of everyday products in reusable packaging. Loop has engaged many of the world's largest consumer product companies such as P&G, Nestlé, Unilever, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola and Mondelez, and many of the world’s largest retailers in this platform. Loop is currently available in the U.S, France, Canada, Japan and the UK.
**Job Overview**
TerraCycle is looking for a bilingual (English & Canadian French) customer service associate to join our Customer Care team. This role reports to the North America Customer Relationship Director, and can be located in Toronto, ON or remote (in Canada).
**Primary Responsibilities**
- Receive incoming phone calls and manage inquiries, collaborating with other employees and team members as needed
- Assist in the development and implementation of service procedures, standard responses, and internal customer care protocols
- Collaborate with account management and marketing teams to ensure that all information presented to our audience is up-to-date and accurate
- Ensure the necessary resources and tools are available for quality customer delivery
- Keep accurate records and document customer care actions and discussions using Zendesk
- Review and assess customer accounts, making any necessary changes upon customer or company request
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic collection points and locations within the TerraCycle recycling network
- Inform customers/callers about other products and services that the company offers
- Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities
- Support on small internal inquiries
- Ad-hoc responsibilities as they arise
**Requirements**:
- BA/BS preferred
- French-speaking (Bilingual English and Canadian French)
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Canadian French
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (G Suite); Zendesk experience a plus
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized, even when interrupted
- Positive and warm demeanor - we want our customers to know that you’re here to help
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
- Strong strategic and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to work as a member of a team as well as pursue projects independently
