**Warehouse and Delivery Team - Delivery Driver**
King Furniture & Mattresses is a locally owned and operated small business that offers a wide range of in-stock and custom-order furniture and mattresses. We service all communities in the Northwestern Ontario and Eastern Manitoba region including, Kenora, Dryden, Red Lake, Falcon Lake, and Winnipeg.

**To invest in you, we offer**:
- Full-time (37.5 hours/week).
- Monday - Friday, 9:00 - 5:00 schedule.
- Above industry-standard wages starting at $24.00 per hour.
- 2 weeks (10 days) paid vacation.
- Additional paid time off for non-statutory holidays including Easter Monday, August Civic Holiday, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, and Remembrance Day.

**In your role, you will**:
- Deliver product to customers’ homes and assemble product when required. Conduct all activities safely and courteously, taking effort to minimize damage to products and property.
- Ensure accurate completion of deliveries and return signed Delivery Slips to the COO.
- With the assistance of the COO, plan and schedule delivery routes.
- Drive the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently; report any mechanical issues to the COO.
- Receive product and prepare for storage, delivery, or floor placement.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts for the warehouse and sales floor.
- Ensure cleaning checklist is completed weekly (light housekeeping such as vacuuming, mopping, garbage and recycling, snow clearing, and salt/sanding.)
- Other tasks as assigned. As a small business, there are situations that fall outside of anyone’s formal job description. If the Warehouse and Delivery Team are best suited to manage such a situation, the task will be delegated to the team.
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence, or equivalent.
- Satisfactory 3-Year Uncertified Driver Record.
- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
- Ability to work safely, accurately, and efficiently.
- Strong and physically fit; stamina to lift and move up to 100 lb. repeatedly.
- Demonstrates good problem-solving, customer service, and communication skills.
- Ability to organize routes and scheduling.
- Ability to perform small repairs an asset.
- Basic computer literacy an asset.
