**Position Overview**:
Rideau Supply is currently seeking a motivated and dependable **Warehouse Associate** to join our Stratford Warehouse team. This role involves key warehouse functions such as picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring the warehouse operates in a safe, clean, and efficient manner.

**What You’ll Learn**:
As part of your development, you will receive hands-on training in:

- **Warehouse Operations Management**:

- **Building and optimizing delivery routes**:

- **Using Samsara** to manage and direct drivers, monitor vehicle performance, and ensure delivery efficiency
- **Customer service**: dealing directly with customers to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction
- **Health & Safety protocols**: understanding the requirements and responsibilities necessary to help lead a branch safely and effectively
- **Branch leadership support**: stepping in to assist or lead warehouse operations when required, including at other locations

This role will also require **occasional travel**, including **extended stays** at other Rideau Supply locations, to assist with operations and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Pick, pack, inspect, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments
- Reject damaged goods and ensure proper documentation is completed
- Load and unload materials using lifting devices such as forklifts and hoists
- Secure loads in compliance with all safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Tag, label, and store inventory in correct locations
- Compile, verify, and process shipping/receiving paperwork
- Report inventory discrepancies to warehouse management
- Provide feedback on operational, mechanical, or delivery issues
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety procedures and use appropriate PPE
- Learn and assist with building delivery routes and managing drivers using Samsara
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve issues or coordinate deliveries

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness and ability to travel and work at other locations as needed
- Interest in operations, logistics, and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills for working with team members, drivers, and customers
- Forklift experience or certification (or willingness to obtain)
