Do you enjoy being outdoors and don’t mind getting your hands dirty? We are looking for customer service-oriented, enthusiastic individuals to join our Property Services team at Pine Hills Cemetery (Birchmount Road and St. Clair Avenue area)

**We offer**:

- Full-time hours every week (Monday to Friday OR Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00AM to 4:30PM weather permitting)
- Statutory holidays are observed
- Benefits for returning seasonals including a boot allowance, medical and dental coverage

**Duties include any combination of the following**:

- General lawn care (cutting, trimming, re-grading, sodding, edging)
- Gardening (planting, weeding, watering, fertilizing, overseeding, watering, pruning)
- Grounds maintenance (edging, top-soiling, garbage collection)
- Operating and maintaining light/small equipment as assigned such as lawnmower, trimmers, gators
- Operating motorized vehicles such as golf carts, frontend loaders, pickup trucks, and utility vehicles.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Ontario Class G2 Driver’s Licence or higher is required, with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and operate light equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Excellent customer service, communication, and comprehension skills
- Previous experience in gardening, landscape, and/or construction is an asset

**Hourly Rate**:

- Starting at $15.57

**Start Date/Duration**
- Spring to Fall - approximately 16 weeks, generally starting in May/June

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $15.57 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
- Gardening: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario Class G2 Driver’s Licence or higher (required)
