WCI Whyte Communications, part of the Prairie Mobile Group of Companies, is a supplier of technical support for major communications systems in the greater Edmonton area. In addition to service support to customer owned communications systems WCI provides 24/7 support to several major emergency dispatch centers.
- Has a strong work ethic

- Is able to plan for site work prior to its commencement
- Is mechanically and electronically minded
- Fully documents their work and time
- Should have knowledge and experience in Kenwood, Harris, Cisco

Job Requirements:

- Clean and valid driver’s license
- Professional attitude towards customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Being a quick learner with a technical aptitude will be an asset
- Computer, networking, and VOIP skills are a big plus
- Capable of lifting, climbing or carrying a minimum of 30lbs for short distances
- Testing by means of watt meter, multimeter, antenna diagnostics, DTF, basic service monitor use, modulation, channel bandwidths and signal levels
- Radio programming
- Install, maintain, and repair trunked and conventional radio systems
- Install, maintain, and tune antenna multi-coupler systems, duplexers and transmit combiners
- Accurately record time and materials on service orders for all assigned work using internal operating systems and procedures and
- Participate in travel, overtime, and on-call duties as required
- Must be able to obtain, and maintain security clearance throughout employment
