**Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced **Line Cook** to join our team at our **4715 Rutherford Rd, Nanaimo BC, V9T 5S5, Location** As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. **Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and guidelines.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the health and safety of our customers.
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Ensure that food is prepared and plated according to presentation standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working as a Line Cook in a restaurant or similar food service establishment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of different cooking techniques and culinary terminology.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
