As the Field Data Administrative Support, you will provide assistance to 3 different teams within Field Data. You will be assigned various work tasks in a fast-paced team environment where interruptions are common, and priorities change frequently. Primary duties include:
- Verify all photo enforcement & violation tickets on Justice Online Information Network (JOIN) report.
- Confirm alarm permit information provided is in accordance with Alarm Services Bylaw.
- Process street issued violation tickets, incoming alarm permit renewals and update new information.
- Prepare incoming Occurrence Summary Report request by reviewing and redacting contents according Traffic Safety Act (TSA) and Freedom of Information & Privacy Act (FOIP).
- Scan, name and upload documents to Content Server, following proper naming conventions for records retention process.
- Manage data adhering to organizational practices, ensuring violation tickets are processed and provided to the courts.
- Other administrative duties as required.
**Qualifications**
- High School or equivalency (i.e. G.E.D.) and a minimum of 1 year data entry operator or office clerk experience.
- A minimum of 50 wpm typing speed is required.
- A minimum of 5,000 alphanumeric key strokes per minute.
- Prior experience using Content Server, JOIN, False Alarm Management System (FAMS), and APIS would be considered an asset.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat is considered an asset.
- Previous experience working in a law enforcement or police service environment is considered an asset.
- Success in this position requires excellent communication, efficiency and thoroughness, focus on results, relationship building, service orientation, stress tolerance, team building, and teamwork.
**Pre-employment Requirements**
- An enhanced security clearance will be conducted.
- Applicants will be tested for appropriate skills.
- Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications. Education obtained from out of country must have or be able to obtain, an Education Credential Assessment (ECA) for confirmation of equivalent credentials.
