We are seeking to hire a part-time Optometric Assistant or Optician, ideally with Optometry/Optical office experience.

If you are passionate about caring for others, thrive in a dynamic work environment, and are excited about being part of a team that is building a business from the ground up, we would love to hear from you.

This position is ideal for an optician and/or optometric assistant with at least 1 year experience in the field, however exceptions can always be made for that right fit, or a medical office assistant wanting to specialize in optical care. We are a smaller boutique style clinic, so a willingness to be cross-trained in different areas around the office is a must. We are located at beautiful Mattick's Farm, serviced by BC Transit Route #32 and the Lockside Trail. Parking is free.

Wages are dependent on years of experience and licensing.

We are open Tuesday to Saturday, two days 9am-5pm and two days 10-6pm and Saturday 9am-3pm.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Reception (greeting patients, managing the Optometrist's schedule, answering phones, invoicing and checking out patients)
- Patient pretesting
- Optical dispensing and repairs

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$26.00 per hour
