Surrey, Canada AM Civil Construction LTD. Full time

Come work with a welcoming team of underground utilities workers. AM Civil Construction performs civil works services ranging from Sanitary Sewer Installation, Storm Sewers Installation, Franchise Utilities Installation, Street-lighting, and Roadworks. We work throughout the following cities: Surrey, Langley, and Delta.

**Requirements**:

- Dedicated, Resilient, and Team-player characteristics that aid in teaching and working as a team.
- At least 5 years of Civil Works Experience relative to Sanitary Sewer Installation, Storm Sewers Installation, Franchise Utilities Installation, Street-lighting, and Roadworks.
- Full knowledge and ability to interpret complex civil works drawings. (Must Have).
- Ability interact with engineers, inspectors, and sub-contractors.
- Deep understanding and ability to lay pipe and coordinate labourers and pipe-layers.
- Ability to order material to site, provide as-built drawings, and attend pre-construction meetings.
- Class 5 or 7 Drive License Required. Must arrange ride to and from work.
- Aware of Work-safe BC requirements and protocols.

Duties Include:

- Leading a team of 5-10 Workers for medium to large sized civil projects.
- Solely interpreting Civil Works drawings planning, organizing, and orchestrating projects from start to finish.
- Organizing and ordering materials for projects and checking if supplies are insufficient.
- Laying pipe, cutting pipe, minor excavation skills, shooting elevations, and ability to be a part of a team.
- Conducting Safety FLHA meetings and toolbox talks.

Pay: $60.00 per hour
