Shipping Supervisor

**Responsibilities**:
plan and manage day to day logistics and transportation

Arrange and plan inbound and outbound goods

Resolve any conflicts or complaints

Management of department calendar

Create and maintain paperwork for all shipments for shipments

Supervise daily activities of the shipping department, provide guidance and assist when needed.

Liaison with suppliers, project managers, jobsite contracts for shipments to ensure correct and on time deliveries

Coordinate the shipping department schedule and manpower requirements to ensure that the outgoing and incoming of products are shipped and received on a timely/cost effective manner

Work closely with other department managers to ensure all operations are running smoothly and provide assistance to other departments when required.

Help facilitate production to pull orders to shipping

Create, monitor and report on logistics key performance indicators

Provide updates on the status of projects and give progress reports on other process improvements initiatives

Liaison with other departments in production and material handling

Participate and enforce any internal health and safety policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:
3-5 years of experience within logistics/transportation/supply chain management

Post secondary education in supply chain management or equivalent experience

Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse management, inventory control and transportation management

Strong computer skills

Forklift experience and certification

Strong communication and customer service skills

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
