Product Launch Manager

**Role Summary**:
**What You Will Do**:
- Work with management and steering committee teams to define the strategy, plan and metrics for overall product launches
- Conduct product launch stakeholder meetings with internal teams including product, engineering, sales, marketing, and other business-dependent units while leading additional deep dives into functional areas as needed
- Cadence with Business and Technology leads in keeping to project goals and milestones, and moderating changing priorities, budgetary limitations, and key deliverables
- Ensure product training is arranged and executed for all internal and external stakeholder groups; verify supporting documentation
- Utilize a problem-solving focused approach through problem definition, devising of alternatives, evaluating those alternatives and then guiding the most viable solutions
- Anticipate bottlenecks, explore contingencies, and provide escalation management throughout product launches while understanding the risks and dependencies between product program and deliverables
- Communicate and maintain accurate project read-outs; regular weekly presentations and updates to key stakeholders and executive teams in a timely and succinct fashion
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to define and execute the go to market strategy for going to market for a new product or service, implementing that plan, and analyzing results to improve future launches
- Work with Product Management to define releases, their goals and themes, ensuring all internal departments understand their role in releases facilitating communication of release readiness internally and to partners, and managing lifecycle stages for products and solutions already in the market
- Ensures all internal teams needed to support the new product are identified, needs and dependencies are documented and the project is tracked to completion, including formal post launch monitoring
**What You Will Need**:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in a Project Management with 3-5 years in project launch/product commercialization/project management
- Certification in Project Management (asset)
- Demonstrates strong organizational and presentation skills
- Experience with managing cross-functional projects
- Problem solver. Identifies better ways to meet customer needs
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build consensus and develop solid relationships
- Must be detail oriented with strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Able to define and document business processes and create process flows or playbooks with Microsoft Office, Visio, or other project management tools
- Worked with product / program management systems such as Aha/Jira/Craft.io
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
