**Job Profile**

The City & Short Haul Truck Driver picks up and delivers parts to ensure that production/operations has the required parts/product when needed. The Truck Driver plans the route to optimize the schedule and ensure efficient, timely, and safe delivery of parts and product.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Pick-up and deliver parts, product, and other items as required
- Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete and entered in the ERP system
- Report any and all accidents/incidents to Supervisor immediately and Health & Safety Manager
- Occasional night outs may be required
- Ensure freight is accurate and in good condition (including all pallets are in good condition prior to loading)
- Ensure trucks are kept clean and in good operation as per mission statement (once every 2 minimum weeks or as required)
- Maintain truck when required
- Ensure trucks are ready to go for next trip (fuel, fluids, etc.)
- Assist with Warehouse duties (cleaning, maintenance, part picking unloading/loading)
- Ensure all certificates / Tickets are up-to-date
- Relevant working knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
- Ensure all Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations are being closely followed and all Logs are accurate, complete and are within regulation.
- Work with warehouse staff by physically and electronically putting product away
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Completion of Grade 12 or GED
- Valid Class 1A for Semi and a clean driver’s abstract
- Minimum 2 year of 1A Semi experience
- Minimum 2 years of delivery experience
- Minimum 1 year of Flat-deck experience
- Forklift experience an asset
- Dangerous Goods Certificate an asset
