Palatine Hills Estate Winery is a family-owned estate located in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake, with a deep-rooted legacy of farming and winemaking. Originally a fruit farm founded by John Sr. and Barbara Neufeld, the estate evolved into a premium winery in 2003, now led by second-generation brothers Johnny and Charles Neufeld. Known for our rustic charm and relaxed hospitality, we celebrate the land we farm and the wines we craft—always with a welcoming glass in hand.

**Position Overview**:
We are looking for passionate, personable, and wine-curious individuals to join our front-of-house team this season. As a Retail Team Member, you will help bring our winery experience to life—offering warm hospitality, guiding tastings, and sharing our story with every guest who walks through the door. If you love people, enjoy fast-paced environments, and want to grow your knowledge of Niagara wine, this role is for you.

This is a **part-time, in-person position**, with a strong focus on weekends and holidays. Hours will increase during the busy summer season.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests and guide them through curated tastings, wine-by-the-glass service, and bottle purchases.
- Share the Palatine Hills story and our estate-grown approach with enthusiasm and accuracy.
- Support daily sales goals through engaging service and product recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming tasting room and retail space.
- Operate POS systems and manage cash handling procedures.
- Assist with event and patio service as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Customer-focused with strong communication skills and a friendly attitude.
- Hospitality, retail, or service experience is strongly preferred.
- Sales-minded and comfortable making product suggestions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Smart Serve certification (required).
- Must have **reliable transportation**.
- Must be available to work **weekends and holidays**.
