Overview:
**Duties**:

- Inspect, test, certify and repair a variety of pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical equipment
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks
- Experienced using shop equipment including lathes, milling machines and drill presses
- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and implement solutions and participate in failure analysis discussions
- Maintain equipment history and paperwork as required
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist other Technicians as required
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in mechanical maintenance an asset
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to repair equipment back to OEM standards
- Ability to work alone or as part of a flexible team
- Good housekeeping standards
- Computer literacy (MS Office,Windows)
- Knowledge in electrical/electronic troubleshooting an asset
- Excellent communication abilities

Physical Requirements:
This job requires some heavy lifting, use of ladders and working on elevated work sites such as platforms. This position requires the ability to work in a variety of different work environments both indoors and outdoors.

Pay: $20.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
