Vretta is looking for a Compensation Analyst to support our compensation strategy and practices to ensure compliance, internal equity, and external competitiveness. Our Compensation Analyst would act as a consultant and is responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of responsibilities outlined below in accordance with our cultural priorities and legal requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for maintaining a comprehensive salary structure for all levels of staff members.
- Performs role market-composites by benchmarking compensation data using external sources to ensure the competitiveness of pay practices, and recommends market-based compensation while ensuring internal and external equity.
- Conduct reviews of the company's compensation programs, evaluating programs against market trends. This includes assessment of wages, vacation policy, company holidays, etc.
- Collaborate with the leadership teams in short-term/long-term incentive design planning that reflects the market and needs of the business as well as cost modeling.
- Support the annual salary review process by conducting benchmark reviews on trends on wage changes in the various regions we operate.

**Requirements**:

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in a relevant Human Resources position.
- Post Secondary Education in Human Resources or a relevant field is an asset.
- Knowledge of employment law and labour laws in Canada.
- Excellent organizational, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Proven ability to handle secure and confidential data and material.
- CHRP certification is an asset.
